At the time, the Duke and Duchess refused to provide any further information about the birth. Palace spokespersons only confirmed that Archie weighed 3.26 kilograms. When his birth certificate was published, however, it was revealed that Archie was born at Portland Hospital.
Meghan and Harry also did not take a “classic” photo in front of the hospital – allegedly because they were “not asked”, as the Duchess of Sussex made clear in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, 67. It was only two days after the birth, at a photo opportunity in St. George’s Hall at Windsor Castle, that she showed the world her firstborn child.
