In subtle beige instead of canary yellow: Duchess Meghan is beaming at the end of her trip to Nigeria with her husband Prince Harry.

Prince Harry (39) and Duchess Meghan (42) ended their three-day trip through Nigeria with a glamorous appearance at a polo match. As the Daily Mail reports, the Sussexes were guests of honor at a charity match in Lagos. During their 72-hour trip to the West African country, Harry and Meghan promoted the Invictus Games for disabled soldiers, which Harry founded.

Meghan wore her third outfit in a day to the game. The Duchess opted for a beige halterneck dress with an open back. It was her most understated look on the Nigeria tour. Before that, she appeared very colorful, for example in a canary yellow dress. She also wore a skirt during an appearance that she had previously received when she landed in the capital, Abuja.

Duchess Meghan honored her Nigerian roots

Duchess Meghan honored her roots with the outfits. During the trip, Meghan referred to Nigeria as “her country.” A DNA test showed that the American woman is 43 percent of Nigerian origin. “It was quickly made clear to me that I should wear more colors so that I fit in with you and your incredible fashion,” said the ex-“Suits” actress during a panel discussion.

Prince Harry also appeared in a reserved look at the end of the trip. He wore a simple black jacket over a light shirt without a tie. The enthusiastic polo player had to be content with the role of spectator at the match. Previously, the son of King Charles III. (75) took part in sitting volleyball with disabled soldiers.

The three-day tour of Nigeria was the first quasi-royal trip for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan since the two stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to the United States in 2020.
