This is news that seems to delight Kate and William: Meghan Markle will not accompany her husband, Prince Harry, on May 8 in London for the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games which will take place at St Paul’s Cathedral. A decision which, according to The Mirror And L’Express UKwould have aroused “a huge sigh of relief” inside Kensington Palace, the London residence of Prince William and Kate Middleton.
According to royal expert Tom Quinn, cited by The Mirror, this visit is loaded with meaning, particularly because of Kate Middleton’s recent cancer diagnosis. The presence of Harry without Meghan could thus allow a more natural interaction and recall old times: “If anything can make Harry act like he used to his weddingit’s the shock of potentially losing someone he’s always described as ‘the sister he always wanted’“, he explained.
The expert also mentioned that William “Hate the idea of meeting Harry” due to Meghan Markle’s perceived influence on the latter. For Kate, the situation is less tense with her brother-in-law, provided of course that the wife of the Duke of Sussex is not present. “[Ils] have always attributed Harry’s change from a charming but strong-willed boy to an angry young man to Meghan’s influenceadded Quinn. This explains the huge relief at Kensington Palace when it was confirmed that Meghan would not be coming with her husband to the UK.”

Kate Middleton ready to forgive Harry?
If William refuses the slightest interaction with his brother, Kate Middleton seems ready to make peace with Prince Harry, motivated by his cancer diagnosis and a desire for harmony for their children. “She is fed up with this animosity”revealed a source to Us Weekly on May 1, emphasizing that the Duchess of Cambridge wants her children to bond with their cousins, Harry’s children. This potential reconciliation could well coincide with Harry’s return to the UK for the Invictus Games. So, could illness reunite this long-divided family?
