Because the number of corona infections is rising sharply again in Germany, the country is threatened with new measures. Chancellor Angela Merkel (67) indicated that unvaccinated people in particular must expect further “severe restrictions”.
At a top meeting of her CDU party, Merkel was extremely concerned about the increase in infections. The new measures could therefore go beyond the so-called “2G model”, announced Merkel according to “n-tv”. Daily tests at the workplace for unvaccinated people are therefore not excluded.
In Germany, the seven-day incidence is currently 153.7 and the occupancy of beds in intensive care units by corona patients is increasing. At the same time, however, the vaccination rate in the country is stagnating. (cat)
