Mesut Özil and his wife Amine became parents for the first time in March. However, the footballer does not show many photos of his daughter Eda. On New Year's Eve, Özil makes an exception for the first time.
Beaming with joy, Mesut Özil, 32, and his wife Amine Özil, 27, look into the camera. The photo shared by the Arsenal FC player on January 1st is a New Year's greeting to his fans; and a very special one. It is the first shot in which he shows his daughter Eda from the front.

What catches the eye: the nine-month-old Eda has grown pretty big. In her black and white dress by designer Christian Dior and with a bow on her head, the little girl looks a little skeptical into the camera. Özil himself writes about the family portrait: "We wish you peace, happiness and health."

The picture of the happy family received over a million likes in the first three days of the new year. Amine Gülşe also publishes the sweet picture. She had shown her daughter more often than husband Mesut Özil, but never revealed her face. It is a premiere for both of them, which their followers are particularly happy about and comment on in large numbers. Özil and the model married in Istanbul in 2019. Daughter Eda makes her family happiness perfect.
