Joseph Vilsmaier died a year ago. On the first anniversary of his death, Michael Bully "Herbig" remembers the director on Instagram.

Michael Bully Herbig (52, "Der Schuh des Manitu") honors the director Joseph Vilsmaier (1939-2020) who died last year with an Instagram post. "A year ago today, my dear friend Joseph Vilsmaier died," said Herbig about a picture that shows the two of them on the set of "The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love". It was Vilsmaier's last directorial work before he died on February 11, 2020, Herbig plays the leading role alongside Hape Kerkeling (56).

After the originally planned theatrical release in November fell victim to the corona pandemic, they wanted to start a new attempt on the first anniversary of the director's death. But again without success, as the comedian explains. "Joseph would say, 'What a shit!'" He writes. The good news is that the film will be released as soon as they are allowed to reopen.
