When will the Michelin Guide France 2024 ceremony take place?
Appointment on March 18 to know the 2024 Michelin Guide rankings. This was announced by Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Gastronomic Guides during a conference held at the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire on September 18. You will therefore have to wait two weeks longer than last year to discover the new stars in the Red Guide.
When will the 2024 Michelin Guide be released in bookstores?
If the ceremony takes place on Monday March 18, the bookstore release should be planned shortly after. If we base ourselves on what is usually done, the event generally takes place on a Monday and the book is normally found in bookstores on Friday of the same week. Thus, last year, the 2023 class was revealed on Monday March 6 and the Guide was available for sale from Friday March 10. You should therefore be able to obtain the 2024 edition from Friday March 22, 2024.
How much does the Michelin Guide cost?
This may vary depending on which edition you wish to purchase. For the price of the current year’s guide, count at least 29€. If you collect and have missed certain years, you can get them on e-shops and for less. For example, it is possible to buy the 2022 edition for just under €25.
Where will the 2024 Michelin Guide ceremony take place?
After Cognac in Charente and Strasbourg in Bas-Rhin in 2023, the next Michelin Guide ceremony will take place in Tours in Indre-et-Loire. This decision is part of the regional decentralization policy carried out by the committee for several years. As Gwendal Poullennec declared in the columns of Figarothis custom of organizing the ceremony in the four corners of France aims to “celebrate the diversity of terroirs and territories which contribute to the quality of the French gastronomic scene”. Michelin Guide 2023 results: who had lost a star?
