PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – The Competition Authority announced on Tuesday that it had unconditionally authorized the takeover of the online sales site Allopneus by the tire manufacturer Michelin.

“Considering that the operation is not likely to adversely affect competition, the Authority therefore authorized it unconditionally”, she explained in a press release.

Michelin announced at the end of August the acquisition of 100% of Allopneus, in which it had held 40% of the capital since 2015, without specifying the amount of this transaction.
