Mick Jagger and Dave Grohl dream of the end of the corona madness. Their surprise single “Easzy Sleazy” makes that more than clear.

Mick Jagger (77, “Joy”) and Dave Grohl (52) counter the pandemic with an energetic rock song. Out of nowhere, the two music greats released the surprise single “Easzy Sleazy” on Tuesday (April 13th). What is it about? The meanwhile normal corona madness. They sing about zoom conversations, canceled tours, virtual premieres, false applause in football stadiums and too much time spent in front of the screens.

A lot of optimism

The home has become a prison, says Jagger on the track. But the former Rolling Stones star is confident about the future. The song is about the end of the lockdown and contains “some much-needed optimism”, as he writes on YouTube about the music video.

Meanwhile, Grohl raves about the collaboration with Jagger. For him, the joint track is “more than a dream come true. […] Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier … “The Foo Fighters frontman is already calling” Easzy Sleazy “the” song of the summer, without a doubt “.
