Microids Records: the French studio launches its music label

Microids publishes many video games, it develops some with internal teams, but the French studio has decided to also launch into the music industry. He just created Microids Recordsa music label that will publish the original soundtracks of its games but also collaborate with other artists and composers.

Microids Records is part of the launch of the pole Entertainment, which will highlight music, audiovisual and merchandising. A division headed by Frédéric Claquin, formerly of TF1 and creator ofARTitude. The studio announces that the soundtracks of Syberia 2 and Syberia 3 will be the first albums published by Microids Records. Reminder music composed by Inon Zur, also known for his work on licensing fallout, dragon age or Prince of Persia, which should delight fans of exotic sounds. The composer also states:

The creation of this label by Microids, a long-time partner, perfectly illustrates the fact that music is a crucial element in the development process of their video games. As an artist and composer, I can only welcome this great initiative.
