Things are moving around Microsoft Teams
. While a more compact interface and automatic music detection are on the way, the Redmond firm is tackling a new demand from users.

According to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, the American giant is working on integrating LinkedIn and OneDrive into its video conferencing application.

LinkedIn and OneDrive integration is coming

The LinkedIn integration will arrive next month. It will allow you to consult the profile of your colleagues from the LinkedIn chat, which will be made available in a box. This should prove particularly useful for employees of large groups, in order for example to know which division a person belongs to or to know their past experiences without having to go through the social network.

For the integration of OneDrive it will be necessary to wait until April. More concretely, users of the Business version of the cloud storage service will be able to find all their Teams files directly in a new section “ YourTeams “. A very practical feature for those who no longer remember in which chat a document was. A similar system will arrive with SharePoint.
