Yesterday evening, Yacht Club Games held a presentation that lifted the veil on a few projects related to Shovel Knightincluding additional content for Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon, but we especially learned of the existence of a brand new license, Mina the Hollower. The title, visibly inspired by the 8-bit games of yesteryear, presented itself with a first trailer and many details.
We keep digging
The title will therefore focus on action and adventure with a pixel-art aesthetic inherited from the Game Boy Color, where we will control Mina, who will try as best she can to save a cursed island by making her way facing monsters and all kinds of enemies, and meeting many characters on the way.
We discover here the first images of the title, which will go through the Kickstarter box, but do not panic, the game has already reached its goal. Of the €276,282 requested, the studio has already received €330,355 at the time of writing, enough to ensure a guaranteed release for the game, in the best possible conditions.
Mina the Hollower will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
