Minecraft: A player reproduces the Zelda Breath of the Wild map

Take two world famous licenses, and mix the two to obtain a spectacular result: this is what a Minecraft player did by reproducing the map of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The map of Breath of the Wild reproduced in Minecraft

Appointed Dinaeh, this inveterate day of the title of Mojang Studios has indeed decided to reproduce the map of Breath of the Wild, and to share the result on Reddit. Although it is still under development, he explains that he has used WorldPainter tool at 1:2 scale and plans to finish it with other well-known creators in the Minecraft Building community.

In the words of the creator, it will be playable entirely in survival mode by other players, and will therefore be accessible for free, and that’s good news.

Thanks to the various screenshots shared, we can recognize the most striking places in Breath of the Wild, and we can therefore see without difficulty that the resemblance is incredibly striking.

This is not the first time that we have been able to admire the talent of Minecraft players, as evidenced by other creations such as the reproduction of the Apex Legends map, or the incredible reconstruction of Europa Park and Rulantica.

As a reminder, Minecraft benefited from its big Caves & Cliffs update with a first and second part. In this one, several novelties including ores, animal species, or even several biomes mainly located in the caves.

Finally, Mojang Studios announced in September 2021 to have two completely new projects, still focused in the line of Minecraft, but we don’t know more about them at the moment.

The possibilities in Minecraft are quite enormous. In addition to the survival mode which requires knowing a little about the basics of the game, if only for the first crafts, the Creation mode allows the most talented to give free rein to their imagination for non-standard structures.
