Last June, during E3, we were able to discover, through a trailer, Minecraft Legends, the new game from Mojang set in the cubic world. For this title, the studio has chosen to focus the gameplay on strategy, but exploration and crafting will indeed be part of it, as we learned later.
If Minecraft Legends is only planned for the year 2023, the developers have unveiled new images, with some information about it. So, like the survival game, the world will be procedurally generated and points of interest will never be in the same place, for more replayability. Crafting and construction will obviously be important, but it will be your troops who will take care of it.
For the rest, we will find the different biomes of Minecraft, as well as the bestiary, so that fans of the license can find what they like the most. For the rest, we should be dealing with a fairly standard real-time strategy game (collecting resources, training troops, attacking enemy bases, etc.). Mojang has already clarified that Minecraft Legends is for all types of players, whether they have played hundreds of hours of Minecraft or not. A campaign mode and an online mode will be available.
The release of Minecraft Legends is currently scheduled for the year 2023, without further details, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
