Minecraft: The pre-release 3 of version 1.18.2 is available

Before the release of the final version 1.18.2 of Minecraft which should therefore take place on February 28, Mojang Studios just let players enjoy the third pre-release which corrects several bugs, including the generation of glow berries, some defective commands, or even the resolution of crashes.

Minecraft 1.18.2 Pre-release 3 Patch Note

  • MC-218739 – Glow berries and glow lichens spawning does not update light beyond block borders.
  • MC-244772 – Unable to double click to join realm.
  • MC-248539 – /locate command doesn’t work properly in flat worlds.
  • MC-248636 – Game output and server console are logged and polluted with “Creating a MIN function between two non-overlapping inputs” message when joining or creating a world.
  • MC-248637 – Crash when opening solo screen due to StackOverflowError in net.minecraft.nbt.CompoundTag$1.skip.
  • MC-248680 – World freezes on Superflat when using locate command to find looter outpost.
  • MC-248748 – Exploration maps leading to custom structures can cause server crash.

As a reminder, the first pre-release made it possible to add new features, in particular the possibility for players to add personalized structures in the experimental datapacks, or the possibility of configuring the generation of caves using them.

Good news for Minecraft fans who own the Meta Quest and Meta Quest 2 VR headsets: QuestCraft is available for free. You will be able to break real blocks!
