Missing from Harbach – search operation in Klagenfurt for 94-year-old man

After a call for help from Diakonie de La Tour, a major search for a missing 94-year-old man was launched Tuesday evening in the Klagenfurt-St. Peter started. The police and rescue dog squadron of the Samaritan Association and the Austrian rescue dog brigade were on duty until late at night.

“The man was in the Harbach nursing home for the first day and disappeared without a trace around 4:30 p.m.,” reports Squadron Commander Franz Blatnik from the Samaritan Federation rescue dog squadron. The alert came at 7:30 p.m. Eight dog handlers, four rescue workers and 12 search dogs from the Samaritan Union rescue dog squadron and the FLIR police helicopter were on duty until late at night. However, there is still no trace of the 94-year-old, who lived on Pischeldorfer Straße. The resident is 94 years old, 160 centimeters tall, very slim, has neck-length, gray hair and is wearing dark trousers and a dark jacket clothed.
