Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, a release date and a first teaser full of promise with Godzilla for the Apple TV+ series

At the start of the week, fans of Kaiju were treated to a first trailer for the Japanese feature film of the Tōhō Godzilla Minus Oneindependent of Hollywood productions from MonsterVerse and expected at the end of the year. At the same period, subscribers to AppleTV+ they can discover Monarch: Legacy of Monstersa series live-action of 10 episodes of one hour each announced in January 2022 and which will be well integrated into this cinematographic universe and which has just been entitled to a first teaser that is already very promisingespecially given its format.

The video opens with dialogues from William Randa (John Goodman), the organization’s scientist Monarch that we saw in Kong: Skull Island and who left behind secret documents. The story will span many years, with the heart of the action taking place between the events of Godzilla (2014) And Godzilla 2: King of the Monstersthe latter showing itself in this first preview, in addition to others Titansalready promising scenes of great spectacle.

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that ravaged San Francisco and the shocking revelation that the monsters are real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters follows two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to discover their family’s connection to the secret organization known as the Monarch.

Clues lead them into the world of monsters and eventually down the rabbit hole to army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), set in the 1950s and a half century later later, where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.

The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and how epic, life-changing events can impact our lives.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is therefore expected on Friday November 17 on AppleTV+whose subscription costs €6.99 per month. You can get a box Apple TV (2022) on Amazon from €159.00.
