Monster Hunter Wilds: the next evolution of the license will be totally wild and disproportionate

Since Capcom finished with Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak for which it released a final bonus update in June, and putting aside the mobile episode Monster Hunter Now of Nianticwe were expecting the reveal of the next main episode, especially since the editor’s presentation to Tokyo Game Show 2023 had served to tease the community. Indeed, March 2024 will mark the 20th anniversary of the license and the illustration revealed aligned characters in armor from different generations, until one appeared just after Rise, symbolizing the future. We had to wait until tonight and the conclusion of the Game Awards 2023 to discover a first trailer for what we will call Monster Hunter Wilds !

A vast open world seems to be preparing us Capcom, with the different species going about their lives in a realistic way, here trying to escape a sandstorm. You will also notice the details of burns related to lightning strikes, which can affect creatures. THE Hunter who is shown in the video rides a kind of griffin, worthy heir of the Canyne by MH Risecapable of moving easily from one rock to another and of gliding.

But the most surprising remains the end of the sequence, with a seamless transformation of the decor, moving from desolate lands to a much more welcoming savannah. Is this a particularity of this world? What is certain is that we will find there again Rathalos.

In his video for PlayStationlicense producer Ryozo Tsujimoto indicated that the creatures and ecosystems in this episode are at a whole new level of detail than before. On stage, he also indicated that the next information on the game will arrive during the summer of 2024. It must be said that hunting will not start before 2025, then we clearly have time to see it coming. Some visuals showing what is shown in the trailer can be discovered on the next page.

Monster Hunter Wilds is expected on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam)which will delight players who found that the Switch had limited Rise. The latter can also be purchased for €29.99 on Amazon in its basic edition.
