An emblematic figure of British television, the Monty Python troupe made their debut on the big screen with a film strictly speaking in 1975: it is holy grail, the wacky medieval comedy, with a voluntary and assumed low budget style and heavy English humour, which opens the cinema adventure. Two other feature films will follow, crazier than ever.
The meaning of life, directed by Terry Jones, was released on June 22, 1983 in France where it can boast of having won the special grand prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
