The week of March 11, in More beautiful life, even more beautiful…

Zoe puts her secret in danger

Ariane and Zoé made their comeback to the Mistral, after spending several days under the Costa Rican sun. When she arrived, the teenager discovered that her mother had stolen the letter she had written to Louis and hidden in her suitcase. A betrayal that she found difficult to forgive.

In this letter, she explained to her faithful accomplice how alone she felt without him. Finally, Zoé got her back. While she was having a coffee at the Le Mistral bar, the young girl received a visit from Eric, Ariane’s best friend. This former police officer told her that if she posted the letter, she would risk being unmasked by the police. And for good reason, at the penitentiary center, all letters are read and checked.

Zoé realized her mistakes and apologized to her mother. On Friday March 15, the teenager celebrated her sixteenth birthday with her mother, a first since her birth. In honor of this very special day, Ariane gave him symbolic gifts: a pacifier, a soft toy, an educational book, and a puzzle. Zoé was touched by this delicate attention from her mother.

Apolline earns money mysteriously

This week, Apolline discovered that her father had cut her off. The reason ? He did not accept the fact that she was going to study far from Luxembourg. As a result, the student, accustomed to luxury, had to find a job urgently.

She first tried out the job of being an investigator for the Marseille tourist office, but she quickly became disillusioned when she discovered that she had earned 90 euros in a single day. She expected much more than that. It must be said that she has never worked in her life and has no value for money.

Steve advised her to sell her luxury clothes, like her shoes for 900 euros, but the young woman hesitated for a long time, because she is very attached to her appearance. Eventually, she told Steve that she took his advice.

Apolline took advantage of this amount of money earned to go shopping, which surprised Steve and Nisma. That’s not all, the young woman even invited them for a drink. But what she doesn’t know is that these two “friends” discovered more than 1,000 euros in cash in her handbag. So how was she able to earn this large sum in such a short period of time?

Patrick makes a notable return

At the Mistral police station, Jean-Paul and Samuel had access to the neighborhood’s video surveillance cameras. By analyzing them, the two police officers discovered that a strange van had parked in front of Maxime and Cécilia’s house on the evening of the murder. They also noticed two individuals placing a red carpet in the trunk of the vehicle.

The day after this dark discovery, Patrick received the mission to examine all the video surveillance, in order to find out in which direction the van had gone. The police officer on sick leave managed to trace the vehicle, as well as the two individuals whose faces had been camouflaged. They would have gone to the old bowling alley. Jean-Paul and Samuel went to the scene and discovered remains of a human body in the trunk of the vehicle.

The next day, Patrick received a video call from the Mistral police commissioner. She wanted to know everything that had happened since her sick leave. Patrick therefore explained to him that he had witnessed a crime scene at Maxime and Cécilia’s house.

Feeling more and more involved in the affair, Patrick decided to put away his crutches and go to his workplace. Unfortunately for him, Babeth got in his way.

While Patrick tried to convince his wife, the police discovered that the body of the victim found in the van was that of Martine Maillet, the sister of Florence Maillet, Maxime’s late wife.

Maxime and Cécilia were therefore summoned to the police station, but their interrogations yielded nothing. The two partners said the same thing: Martine was harassing Maxime and wanted to blame him for the murder of her sister.

The next day, Patrick returned to the police station, against Babeth’s advice. The police officer very quickly noticed a detail in one of the photos published by Martine Maillet on social networks: Cécilia was wearing the same brooch as her, just a few days ago. Unfortunately, the commissioner refused to arrest Cécilia, explaining: “I cannot request a search order based on photos taken by a police officer prosecuted for voyeurism.”

Will Patrick find evidence important enough to have Maxime and Cécilia arrested? One thing is certain, Patrick is not far from the truth. Answer in the next episodes of the series More beautiful life, even more beautiful.
