Fans of “Plus belle la vie” have been waiting for several weeks to know the fate of Abdel Fedala, the character played by actor Marwan Berreni, found dead last October. Abdel’s disappearance will be addressed in a series of episodes broadcast before the summer.
The tragic disappearance of Marwan Berreni, found dead last October, was a real shock for the large family of More beautiful life and all fans of the series. The 34-year-old actor played the role of Abdel Fedala and was to take part in the series’ comeback on TF1 in January. The production paid tribute to him during the broadcast of the first episode of the new version of the soap opera, and now intends to provide answers to viewers, who are all wondering what happened to Abdel.
“There is a real expectation from the spectator”
Before the summer, the production will develop a whole intrigue around the disappearance of the character played by Marwan Berreni. Its history will be linked to that of the collapse of the buildings in the Mistral district. “Returning to these collapses is also a way for us to evoke the disappearance of Abdel Fedala. We remained very vague, there was a real expectation on the part of the viewer to understand what happened to him. is not an arch on this disappearance but an arch which allows us to tell what happened to him”, explained the producer Clémentine Planchon to the site Diverto. “It will allow us to tell several things around our characters, while paying a beautiful tribute to this place du Mistral (…) In any case, for the whole family of More beautiful lifeit will be a beautiful emotion,” she added.
Barbara presented as a single mother
The plot will focus in particular on the character of Barbara, who had decided to marry Abdel during the final episode of More beautiful life broadcast on France 3. In January, Barbara presented herself as a single mother, subtly evoking Abdel’s departure: “When I found myself all alone with my son, it was complicated. A gastro restaurant is too much pressure, I didn’t have the strength”, she blurted out to Francesco. The broadcast of the episodes surrounding Abdel’s disappearance is planned before the summer, “from the end of May and especially in June”.
