The photo project “More to me” highlights people with Down syndrome. The project aims to dispel common stereotypes and show the personalities behind the disability.
Photographer Hilary Gauld-Camilleri took her photos in the studio, where nothing distracts from the people. “Children and adults with Down syndrome are typically photographed in these bright, happy environments,” Gauld-Camilleri told The Huffington Post. “But this was about illuminating – literally and figuratively – that we are not used to seeing them.” You can find out more about the project and the photographer here: Hilary Gauld Camilleri
