More “wheel and action” – that’s what awaits us at the second IAA in Munich

There is a threat of a drop in exhibitors
In the central squares themselves, despite discussion and bicycle areas, the car will once again be the center of interest – even if the trade fair organizers are having to fight more than ever to get a reasonably comprehensive picture. The VDA members Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, VW and Ford have confirmed their appearance again. And BYD, Hongqi or Leapmotor will certainly come from China, and very likely Wey and Ora too. But with Hyundai, Kia, Genesis or Polestar, previous exhibitors have not yet confirmed their return to Munich. And newcomers like Nio, Lucid, Lynk & Co or Fisker are still giving the fair the cold shoulder. Perhaps also because these manufacturers have long had their own shops in the center of Munich, which visitors pass by anyway.
