There are numerous bays and dream beaches around El Nido in the north of the Philippine island of Palawan. Even for the island paradise of the Philippines, this corner is a very special one.

The beach of South Beach in Miami is probably not one of the idyllic beaches where you are lucky enough to be alone. There’s always something going on here. And that’s good. The southernmost corner of Miami Beach is the area that we all know from numerous films – with colorful Art Deco houses, locals sunbathing with well-trained bodies, palm trees, fine sandy beaches and turquoise-blue water.

Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island on the east coast of Australia is one of the whitest beaches in the world. This thanks to a quartz content of almost 99 percent. You won’t find any hotels on the eight-kilometer-long beach – this is one of the reasons why the natural beach attracts tourists from all over the world.

Nobody has to travel to a distant country to find a dream beach that stretches for miles. The beach at Amrum in northern Germany – near the border with Denmark – is almost endlessly long and beautiful. The beach on the west coast of the island is ten kilometers long and at its widest point it measures three kilometers. Enough space to build a beautiful sand castle.

The Anse Source d’Argent on the Seychelles island of La Digue is almost unrivaled. This thanks to the white sandy beach, the clear water and above all the huge granite rocks. In general, the island of La Digue is a small paradise – in contrast to the larger islands, there are still many small, charming accommodations and locals, as well as travelers, mainly travel by bike.
