According to his manager, Coolio may have died of a heart attack. Paramedics are said to have tried to save him for 45 minutes.
New details on the death of rapper Coolio (1963-2022): As “TMZ” reports, paramedics are said to have “desperately” tried to revive the musician for 45 minutes before declaring him dead. Coolio was staying with a friend in Los Angeles at the time of his death. As the website continues, he is said to have collapsed in a bathroom late Wednesday afternoon.
The cause of death is not yet known. Nothing was found in the bathroom that would indicate drug or drug abuse. His manager reported being told Coolio had suffered a heart attack.
Travel arrangements for Germany
Coolio, who lived in Las Vegas, had come to Los Angeles to sort out an issue with his passport, according to his manager. He would have needed it for a trip to Germany, where he should have performed at the weekend.
His last appearance was in Texas last week, along with Vanilla Ice (54). The two have been on stage together for six years as part of the “I Love The 90s” show. The musician told TMZ that he could hardly sleep after learning of his colleague’s death Wednesday night. Thursday morning he was still “woke up shocked” and “freaked out”.
