Münster crime scene: Jan Josef Liefers and Axel Prahl are shooting again

Commissioner Frank Thiel (Axel Prahl, 60), forensic scientist Prof. Karl-Friedrich Boerne (Jan Josef Liefers, 55), his colleague Silke "Alberich" Haller (Christine Ursprunguch, 49) and prosecutor Wilhelmine Klemm (Mechthild Großmann, 71) and " Vaddern "Thiel (Claus D. Clausnitzer, 81) are back in action. Since Monday (June 15th) the shooting of the new "crime scene: Long live the king!" in Münster, Cologne and surroundings.

Actor Björn Meyer (born 1989) is Commissioner Thiel's new assistant Mirko Schrader and is almost the replacement for actress Friederike Kempter (40), who played investigator Nadeshda Krusenstern from 2002 to 2020. Björn Meyer could already be seen in his role in the mystery thriller "Tatort: ​​Spieglein, Spieglein" (2019).

Corona-related break

"Long live the king!" is, according to WDR program director Jörg Schönenborn (55), the first "Tatort" production by WDR, which has started shooting again after the corona-related break. "There are special and difficult shooting conditions, but the viewers shouldn't be aware of this. Everyone in the team is committed to offering the 'Tatort' fans the best thriller quality – as always," he promises.

What can fans expect in the new thriller? A body is found in the moat of the famous medieval moated castle "Haus Lüdecke" – in armor. The dead man is the freshly baked lord Manfred Radtke. Was it an accident or is there more to it than Commissioner Thiel suspects?

Filming for the 38th case from Münster will run until July 14, 2020. The first broadcast date has not yet been fixed. Before that, the crime series "Tatort: ​​Limbus" will also be broadcast. The date is not yet known here either.
