MWC 2023 – The elegant connected watch Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro arrives in France

With the release in China of the Xiaomi Watch S2, we had come to believe that we would not be entitled to the Watch S1 Pro marketed a few months earlier. Nay! The most luxurious of Xiaomi watches is about to cross the borders of France, about a year after the introduction of the classic Watch S1.

We already presented it last August: the Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro is a more upscale version of the Watch S1. A little more compact (46 mm format against 46.5 mm for the S1), it nevertheless incorporates a larger screen (1.47 inch and 480 x 480 pixels, against 1.43 inch and 466 x 466 pixels), thus reducing the width of its borders.

More elegant, the Watch S1 Pro retains a steel case, sapphire crystal and leather strap, but gains a ceramic back. It also incorporates a larger battery for up to 14 days of battery life, according to Xiaomi. We are also delighted to see the arrival of wireless charging, as well as reverse charging compatible with certain Xiaomi smartphones (Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro, 12 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 10, etc.).

There are heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) sensors, the S1 Pro gaining a skin temperature sensor – the latter is however not highlighted and simply mentioned in the technical characteristics. The geolocation part is not left out with a dual-band GNSS chip.

The Xiaomi Watch S1 Pro will be marketed from March 8, 2023 at a price of €300.
