My Master, second edition. After its launch in February 2023, the platform dedicated to the orientation of post-graduate students re-opened on January 29 and “benefits this year from optimized ergonomics” presents the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The platform “presents like last year all the training leading to obtaining a national master’s diploma”.

My Master: what are the new features for 2024?

The 2024 version of My Master offers several new features compared to the previous version. The most important is undoubtedly the opening of a complementary phase at the end of the main phase. “It will be open to all candidates who have not definitively accepted a proposal during the main phaseexplains the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, and specifies that “candidates will then be able to achieve up to 10 complementary wishes in classical training, and as much in work-study training”.

Another new feature, information sheets on masters “completed with directions on the future of graduates”, such as the employment rate, salaried employment rate in France and the level of demand for training.

How does the choice of training work with Mon Master?

Firstly, candidates can discover the more than 3,500 master’s degrees available in France with various information, in order to refine their application, such as the evaluation criteria or the recommended licenses. Likewise, the capacity of the master’s degree and the geolocation are indicated there, as well as a contact email address to the educational manager and a link to the complete information page on the establishment’s website. Since 2024, indications have been added regarding the rate of salaried employment.

Then, the phase of registering applications and formulating wishes begins. For the main admission phase, candidates can formulate 15 wishes in classical training And 15 wishes in work-study training. Then the establishments examine the applications, before the “admission phase with a redistribution of places not retained by the candidates”.

If a candidate does not validate their wishes, a additional admission phase opens, during which it is possible to formulate 10 new wishes and therefore present 10 new applications. These are examined by the establishments and this phase will end on July 31, 2024.
