MyFrenchFilmFestival 2022: the best French-language films of 2020-2021 to watch online


From January 14 to February 14, 2022 will take place the 12th MyFrenchFilmFestival. On the program: around thirty French-speaking films to watch live from home. Jury, selection, instructions for use: information to follow the event.

MyFrenchFilmFestival 2022: WHERE AND HOW TO SEE THE FILMS

From January 14 to February 14, you will be able to (re) discover more than thirty French-speaking productions by registering on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com. All genres will be represented.

Short films will be available for free worldwide, and feature films will be available individually for € 1.99 (or € 7.99 per pack). The festival will be completely free in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Poland, Romania and Russia / CIS.

Internet users will be able to find the films of the selection on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com, but also on more than 70 VoD platforms which will relay the festival around the world, including the Apple TV app (in more than 90 territories), Amazon Prime Video, Google Play or even MUBI.

The films on the program will be subtitled in French, English, German, Korean, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese and Russian, thanks to the invaluable support of the French diplomatic network (French institutes, embassies, consulates, etc.). To these languages ​​are added for this new edition Arabic, Greek, Hungarian, Mandarin and Turkish depending on the distribution platforms of the territories concerned.

MyFrenchFilmFestival 2022: THE JURY, THE REWARDS…

From comedy to drama, from short to feature film, from romance to documentary: there is something for everyone! Several awards will be awarded at the end of the festival, such as the Grand Jury Prize (which is accompanied by an endowment of € 15,000 for its winner), the Audience Awards and the International Press Awards.

And to present these prizes, the 12th MyFrenchFilmFestival relies on a prestigious jury, made up of MICHELLE COUTTOLENC (Sound engineer), JOACHIM LAFOSSE (Director and screenwriter), FILIPPO MENEGHETTI (Director and screenwriter), SANTIAGO MITER (Director, producer and screenwriter and DAPHNÉ PATAKIA (actress).

And on the jury side of the international press, CARLOS HELÍ DE ALMEIDA (Brazil, Cinema Critic – O Globo), JASON SALOMONS (United Kingdom, Critic – Totally Wired, BBC News, “Seen ANy Good Films Lately?”), ALEJANDRA TRELLES ( Uruguay, Journalist – La Diaria), DZEVDET TUZLIC (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Journalist – BHT 1), FIONA WILLIAMS (Australia, Journalist – SBS Television).
