Gangs of Sherwood will offer us to embody Robin, Marianne, Brother Tuck and Little Jean facing the minions of the terrible Sheriff of Nottingham, pumped up to the limit by the use of philosopher’s stones, in a cooperative action game where it will be – unsurprisingly – to rob the wealthy to redistribute their plundered wealth to the most vulnerable. The sense of justice and generosity of our four heroes will thus be rewarded by obtaining new skills and combos, while the rest of the jackpot can be used to improve everyone’s equipment.
The title promises to take us to some of the most iconic locations of the famous tale, from Sherwood Forest to the Sheriff’s Flying Castle. Because, as evidenced by the trailer broadcast last night during Nacon Connect, Gangs of Sherwood will offer his own vision of the world of Robin Hood, both medieval and industrial.
Gangs of Sherwood is announced sometime next year for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
