Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup got married! The actress shared pictures of the wedding on Instagram.
Naomi Watts (54) and Billy Crudup (54) got married! Taking to Instagram, the actress confirmed the rumors with a photo of herself and her husband on the steps of a courthouse in New York City, in full bride and groom attire.
Watts wore the white “Sweetheart Water Lilly Guipure” dress by Oscar De la Renta (82), which is decorated all over with lace flowers and costs almost 5,000 euros. Crudup wore a plain midnight blue suit and white shirt.
To the photo on Instagram Watts writes simply: “Caught!” to emojis like a dove and a black heart. Numerous stars from Hollywood’s A-League congratulated under the surprising post. Gwyneth Paltrow (50) writes: “Yipeeeeeee!!!! Send so much love !!”, Michelle Pfeiffer (65): “Oh wow! Congratulations. So happy for you both”. Liv Tyler (45) seems particularly surprised and simply writes “Wow” to heart-looking emojis. Justin Theroux (51) congratulates in capital letters “Congratulations to you!!!!!”. Other well-wishers include Olivia Wilde (39), Miranda Kerr (40), Lisa Rinna (59), Katie Holmes (44), Juliane Moore (62), Kerry Washington (46), Chloe Sevigny (48) and Jennifer Coolidge (61) . Watts’ ex Liev Schreiber (55) also congratulated.
Flowers from the deli, small party with friends
About a wedding was published by “Page Six” speculated after the couple were spotted in their wedding outfits, wedding rings and a bouquet of flowers outside their apartment on Friday. As Watts now reveals about other photos in her story, the flowers did not come from the florist, but were unpretentiously bought in a deli. After that there was apparently a small party where actor Josh Hamilton (54) also celebrated his birthday, as shown by a group photo with friends, to which Watts writes: “A little fun with the husband …”
Watts and Crudup met while filming their 2017 Netflix series Gypsy. In the drama series, the two play a married couple.
