Navigo Pass: a compensation platform for delays is available


Faced with repeated delays on certain transport lines in the Paris region in recent months, Île-de-France Mobilités (IdFM) is launching a reimbursement campaign: Punctuality 2023.

Before getting to the heart of the matter, IdFM quickly explained in a blog post that the disruptions that occurred last year were linked to “difficulties recruiting, absenteeism and numerous works necessary to modernize and sustainably improve the network, but impacting traffic”. Having not achieved the objectives set for 2023 in terms of punctuality, Île-de-France Mobilités announces that a “reimbursement campaign is automatically set up to compensate those first affected: travelers”.

Available here since Wednesday March 20, the compensation platform does not concern everyone and all network lines. Eligible people are Navigo Imagine R student and school subscribers, Navigo Annual (all zones), Navigo Mois (all zones), Navigo Reduction 50% and 70% Month (all zones).

IdFM further indicates that “all lines and all axes whose punctuality was less than 80% for at least three months in 2023 are eligible for the reimbursement campaign”. Exceptionally, we learn that this punctuality requirement has been revised to 85%.

In detail, the following lines and axes are concerned:

  • RER A: Cergy-Le-Haut / Maison-Laffitte
  • RER B: Aulnay-sous-Bois / Mitry-Claye
  • RER B: Aulnay-sous-Bois / CDG Airport 2-TGV
  • RER B: Saint-Rémy-les-Chevreuses / Parc de Sceaux
  • RER B: Robinson / Bourg-la-Reine
  • RER C: Saint-Martin d’Etampes / Marolles-en-Hurepoix
  • RER C: Dourdan / La Norville
  • RER C: Pontoise / Saint-Ouen
  • RER C: Juvisy / Brétigny
  • RER C: Massy-Palaiseau / Les Saules
  • RER D: Goussainville / Creil
  • RED D: Montgeron-Crosne / Combs-La-Ville-Quincy
  • RED D: Corbeil via Evry Courcouronnes
  • Line P: La Ferté-Milon
  • Line P: Coulommiers/Tournan

The amount reimbursed ranges from half a month to one and a half months of monthly package. IdFM specifies that the amount is precisely calculated according to the routes on which we traveled, the number of months of the package purchased during the periods impacted by the drop in punctuality, as well as the package.
