At the beginning of the year, Nazan Eckes announced a TV break to look after her father, who had Alzheimer’s disease. Now she is returning.
After her four-month TV break, Nazan Eckes (44) will take over the moderation of the RTL magazine “Extra” again from Monday (April 12). The broadcaster announced. The 44-year-old announced earlier this year that she would be taking a break from work to take care of her father, who had Alzheimer’s disease. Her moderator colleague Jana Azizi (32) had presented the magazine on her behalf since January 11th.
“I haven’t been on the air for almost four months because I needed time for my family and myself,” wrote Eckes on Instagram and thanks everyone who had made their break possible. Now her head is back where it belongs. “So I’m all the more happy to be back in front of the camera for ‘Extra’ this evening and to guide you through the show and I’m looking forward to seeing you !!!”, the presenter continued.
Nazan Eckes will go back on the air every Monday at 10:15 p.m.
