NCIS: M6 once again shakes up the broadcast of season 20 of the detective series

While M6 broadcast two new episodes of “NCIS: Special Investigations” every Saturday evening, the channel decided to shake up its programs once again.

Decidedly, M6 does not seem to know how to broadcast season 20 of NCIS: Special Investigations. Since April 15, the channel has been offering two new episodes of detective fiction every Saturday evening, now led by Gary Cole.

A program that she had upset for the first time on May 27. That evening, M6 had indeed broadcast only one new episode of season 20, before resuming its usual programming the following week.

This Saturday, June 24, M6 has once again decided to shake up its programs. From this date, the channel will only offer one new opus each week.

This Saturday evening, viewers will therefore be able to discover episode 18 of season 20 of NCIS, in which special agents investigate a strange mystery. NAVY Lieutenant Rachel Donohue did indeed attempt to kill her husband Logan but has no recollection of it. The NCIS will then discover that an implant in his arm, prototype of the Dynamics laboratories, would be responsible for his symptoms…

This new episode of season 20 will then be followed by a rebroadcast of episode 2 of season 19. M6 will maintain this rate of broadcasting of a new episode followed by rebroadcasts on the following Saturdays. We will therefore have to wait until Saturday July 22 to discover the end of season 20 of NCIS.

A new spin-off for NCIS

Since its launch in 2003, NCIS: Special Investigations has given birth to numerous spin-offs, each taking place in the four corners of the American territory. It was in Los Angeles that the first derivative series took place, worn by Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J. Launched in 2009, it unfortunately ended last May after 14 seasons.

Five years later, NCIS: New Orleans was born, but the detective series was canceled after 7 seasons. Finally on September 20, 2021, CBS aired the first episode of NCIS: Hawaii which follows a team of special agents in the paradisiacal settings of the Hawaiian archipelago.

Building on these successes, Paramount+ decided to think big by offering the first international iteration of the series. It was therefore in Sydney, Australia that the teams set up their cameras.

Entitled NCIS: Sydney, this newcomer to the famous franchise, which is currently filming, is worn by Olivia Swann (Legends of Tomorrow) and Todd Lasance (Vampire Diaries). For the moment, no French broadcaster has been announced.
