Neighbor threatened – attempted murder? Tiroler (42) shot around in the house

Police major alarm on Wednesday night in Wörgl in the Tyrolean Unterland: A 42-year-old local is said to have shot a long gun in an apartment building and threatened his neighbor. The suspect was finally arrested by the Cobra without resistance.

Around 2 a.m., a resident of the multi-party building in Wörgl called the police alarm. “She stated that her neighbor was threatening her and that he shot her in the door of her apartment,” the investigators say two long guns are registered. “Several police patrols, including a patrol from the standby unit and several Cobra patrols, drove to the scene immediately. Upon arrival, a patrol crew also noticed a loud gunshot from the residential building,” the investigators continued. Police fired a warning shot After the building had been surrounded by the emergency services, the 42-year-old came out of the house at around 2:50 a.m. with a long gun in his hand . “To prevent further harm and to get the suspect to put down his gun, a police officer then fired a warning shot.” The suspect surrendered, lay on the ground and was unresisted by Cobra officers arrested. The Austrian was transferred to the police detention center. Nobody got hurt. Further surveys and interviews are in progress.
