What will you be watching on Netflix in February 2022? We went through the program and picked out three series and one film that you shouldn’t miss!
The Cuphead Show

The Cuphead Show storms Netflix in February, an animated adventure series that mimics the surreal animation style of 1930s Hollywood. The basis of the show is of course the video game hit Cuphead – a heavy shoot ’em up that looks stylistically the same as the series. In The Cuphead Show, you follow the protagonists Cuphead and Mugman – two brothers who scour their homeland for adventure and all too often get into trouble.
The Cuphead Show was implemented by the Moldenhauer brothers, who are also primarily responsible for the game. Of course, you don’t have to know Cuphead or even have played through it to fully enjoy the series.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Splatter, chainsaw and skin mask: Leatherface returns 42 years after the events of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and wants new blood – or rather, new masks of skin to slip over his face. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (without that “the‘) is the spiritual successor to the splatter classic and focuses on two sisters: 25-year-old Ruth moves to Texas and takes her sister Lila, a wheelchair-bound photographer, with her. In Texas, however, the two do not expect a quiet life, as you can probably imagine.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre premieres on Netflix, so you won’t find out how good the new splatter horror really is until February 18th.
Inventing Anna
Stream Inventing Anna on Netflix February 11.
In the darkly humorous miniseries, you’ll get a closer look at Anna Delvey, the young woman who cheated her way through New York’s affluent party scene in 2017-18 – pretending to be the daughter of a billionaire by using a false name. The whole thing only blew up in 2019, after which Anna had to spend a few years in prison. Her real name is Anna Sorokin and she still has almost 150,000 followers on Instagram.
Inventing Anna is based on the true story of Anna Sorokin, but of course spices it up with well-known actors, pretty pictures and a few fictional details. In the series, a keen journalist visits Anna in prison to learn more about the notorious impostor.

Vikings: Valhalla
Stream Vikings: Valhalla on Netflix February 25.
Vikings goes into the next round and that with the spin-off series Vikings: Valhalla. The gritty action-drama show wants to build on the success of Vikings and you’ll see if it succeeds from the release on February 25th. However, Valhalla has nothing to do with the characters of Vikings – instead you accompany the most famous Vikings in history, such as Leif Erikson, Freydis or Harald Harada. Vikings: Valhalla will also be directed by new showrunner Jeb Stuart, who previously worked on the classic Die Hard.
Let’s see what surprises Netflix has in store for February 2022. After all, some films and series are completely new releases that can only be guessed at until they are actually released.
