“The Glory” is a new Netflix series from Korea that’s all about revenge. The eight-episode first season will start in Germany on Friday, December 30th. According to Korean media reports, the revenge story is designed for two seasons. An official confirmation from Netflix is still pending.
The Story of “The Glory”
With “The Glory” Netflix announces nothing less than a true revenge epic. In it, the main character Moon Dong-eun, played by Song Hye-kyo, embarks on a vendetta against those who bullied her and destroyed her childhood. Song Hye-kyo is one of Korea’s most famous actresses.
Another collaboration between leading actress and screenwriter
Said main actress and screenwriter (Kim Eun-sook) of the series “Descendants of the Sun”, which was extremely successful in Asia, are finally working together again after six years. Also co-starring up-and-coming Korean actor Lee Do-hyun, “The Glory” is directed by Ahn Gil-ho (“Watcher”, “Stranger”).
