This is the most popular subscription plan and, with this increase, netflix thus becomes the most expensive platform in this region of the world. The platform had already increased its prices a year earlier. But what about France? Will this new price increase also apply to us?

No further increase in Netflix prices in France

According to our information, the price increase in the United States will not be passed on to France for the moment. netflix has increased the price of its subscriptions in France in the summer of 2021, for the fourth time in seven years, since its arrival in France. On the other hand, something unprecedented, the readjustment of prices in the summer of 2021 concerned for the first time the price of the basic offer, which had not changed since the launch of netflix in France, while the other formulas have increased by 50% in 7 years.

What price for Netflix?

The basic offer, called Essential with a single screen and no high-definition, has thus gone from 7.99 to 8.99 euros per month. The Standard formula, including two simultaneous screens and high-definition, went from 11.99 to 13.49 euros. As for the Premium offer, which gives access to 4 screens and ultra high definition, it now costs 17.99 euros per month, against 15.99 euros previously.
