The series of the month on Prime Video

fallout

In an alternate history where an apocalyptic nuclear conflict broke out just after World War II, the survivors took refuge in luxurious anti-atomic bunkers called Vaults. Two centuries later, Lucy, a peaceful and idealistic Vault resident, struggles to adapt to the hostile world of the Radiated Wasteland when she is forced to the surface to save her father.

Based on the universe of the cult video game of the same name, the series fallout is above all the new production of the duo Jonathan Nolan / Lisa Joy, already at work on Westworld. In addition to the beautiful visual ambition, fans will be happy to find the retro postapocalyptic world of the original game, as well as its comic-sinister tone. Not to spoil anything, the eight-episode series boasts a cast of likeable actors: Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Walton Goggins (The Bastard Eight), Aaron Moten (Emancipation) or Michael Emerson (Lost).

The memory in the skin

A man between life and death is pulled from the ocean by an Italian fishing boat. Having regained his senses, he realizes that he suffers from total amnesia and that he has no identity document with him. The many talents he discovers (combat techniques, knowledge of several languages) point to a dangerous past. Helped by Marie, who is initially recalcitrant, he embarks on a desperate search to find his identity and the reason that pushes ruthless assassins to hunt him down.

Almost the entire Jason Bourne franchise is coming to Prime Video. The opportunity to rewatch the films that redefined action cinema in the 2000s, and notably inspired the Daniel Craig era of the James Bond franchise. A nervous thriller coupled with a political intrigue with twists and turns in the four corners of the world, all served by the cream of international actors. Around Matt Damon, we find Franka Potente, Clive Owen, Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Daniel Brühl, David Strathairn, Édgar Ramirez… What are the people asking for?

Available from April 1 on Prime Video.
