Vorarlbergliga club VfB Bezau found what they were looking for when looking for a successor to coach Cetin Batir. With Günther Kerber, the Bregenzerwald team was able to secure a real luminary with decades of experience.
Coach Methuselah Günther Kerber will be the new coach of VfB Bezau. After Cetin Batir’s departure to FC Egg, Bezau sports director Werner Tartarotti contacted the Dornbirn coaching legend. After a few rounds of discussions, Tartarotti and Kerber agreed that the 71-year-old would take over the fighting team of the Bregenzerwälder Vorarlberg league team. Kerber can still feel the fire burning within him: “I’m really looking forward to the task in Bezau.” He has the board job at Viktoria Bregenz returned. His last coaching position was the ladies of FC Dornbirn, which he led to the 2nd league.
