From tomorrow, according to the Minister of Health Olivier Véran, between 500,000 and 700,000 people aged 18 to 64 could lose their precious health pass. The one who, for several months, has allowed us to go to restaurants, to the cinema, to certain public places… Who is concerned, are there any exceptions?

This is the last day to update your health pass. The three-dose one comes into force this Saturday, January 15, while the future vaccine pass wanted by the government offers a new shuttle between the National Assembly and the Senate today. The deputies and the senators did not find an agreement, the adoption of the text on January 15 therefore seems illusory. Regarding the current health pass, if your last injection is before June 15th and you haven’t done the reminder, it will be deactivated tomorrow. Unless you have contracted Covid-19 in the meantime.

Two exceptions

First scenario, you were infected after your first dose. Your health pass then remains valid on two conditions: having recorded your PCR or antigen test result in your “Tous Anti Covid” application and having taken your second dose between a minimum of three months and a maximum of seven months after contamination. This dose thus corresponds to a booster dose.

Second possibility, you were infected after the second dose. Your pass remains valid under the same conditions. On the other hand, the third injection remains obligatory.

The deadline for taking your booster dose will soon be reduced

On February 15, the deadline for taking the booster dose will drop from seven to four months after the last injection or infection. Finally, beware of unpleasant surprises, the QR code is only valid seven days after the injection. If, you have exceeded the seven-month period in the meantime, your pass could therefore be temporarily deactivated.
