Among the lessons that fans can learn from this trailer, the video puts a face and a name on the antagonist at the head of the Tenakths, heavily armed rebels that the heroine will encounter during her journey to the West. Played by actress Angela Bassett, Regalla, that’s her name, is in a vengeful mood and seems to respond to a more powerful entity that provides her with troops, weapons and the ability to control war machines.
This masked enemy may have a connection to the faction from another continent whose existence was mentioned recently in Game Informer, but it is in any case certain that Aloy will find old allies (like Erend and Varl , who will be more present than in the previous opus) and enemies (the enigmatic Sylens, of course).
But new characters like young Zo, brilliant Alva, and warrior Kotallo also make an appearance here and all seem to be on the heroine’s side. It is also difficult not to notice the presence of a character who seems to come straight from a distant past, a certain Tilda, played by Carrie-Anne Moss.
