A horror shooter announced for 2022 should actually contain NFTs, but the protests from gamers were too strong: The developers of the next-gen game for Xbox have now backed out and will remove all NFTS.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl is expected to continue the popular horror shooter franchise on Xbox Series X | S and PC in April 2022. Development studio GSC Game World had planned to give the sequel a brand new feature: gamers should be in the game NFTs can be purchased and these in the new Stalker Metaverse to be able to use.
