Whoever enters a high-speed train in China is greeted with a long announcement explaining which behaviors are prohibited: smoking, speaking loudly, making noise with your mobile phone, laying your head on the fold-out table to sleep. Such “untrustworthy behavior”, the announcement sometimes ends, is noted in the so-called credit information of the train passengers.
