New on Netflix: this Christmas comedy with Jennifer Garner will make you have a great time!

In Family Switch to watch on Netflix, the members of a family swap bodies for a few days.

What is it about ?

A family is thrown into chaos just days before Christmas when parents and children find themselves in each other’s shoes during a rare cosmic event.

Who is it with?

Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms and Emma Myers (one of Wednesday’s revelations) are the headliners of this Christmas comedy. After Yes Day released last year, the American actress renews her partnership with Netflix and confirms that she prefers family films to action.

Is it worth a look?

In the “Christmas movies” category, there is what you need on Netflix. Between the catalog, the original productions and this year’s new releases, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for.

Today, a little spotlight on Family Switch, a comedy which landed on the platform on November 30, without any big promotion. And yet, this Christmas film has a nice cast and that is clearly what makes it strong.

On paper, this production clearly draws its inspiration from Freaky Friday, a film rebooted many times in which a mother and her daughter exchange bodies and therefore personalities. They realize in the end that rather than continually clashing, they should stick together.

Family Switch offers the same moral. Despite a conventional and conventional storyline, the feature film is good for the heart and serves as ideal entertainment for the end of year celebrations. Between the Christmas dances and music, the magical decorations even in sunny Los Angeles, the atmosphere is respected. But its main asset is its casting: Jennifer Garner and Emma Myers burst onto the screen in this mother/daughter duo. The latter confirms all its potential and also excels in comedy.

If Family Switch is not the film of the century (we will go back to the unfunny jokes and the completely failed swipe of the dog and the baby), it is extremely entertaining and made with heart. Because when the actors are having fun, the spectator is having fun too! A guilty pleasure to watch with a good hot chocolate in your hands and under a blanket, of course.
