Computer specialist Acer is becoming increasingly diversified. After the brand already has an e-bike, the next expansion of the business area is now underway with the addition of power stations. The Acer APS311, APS321 and APS331 models differ from each other primarily in their capacity.

According to Acer, each of the three PowerStations has the option of bi-directional charging, which supports fast charging and guarantees an uninterrupted power supply (UPS within 14 milliseconds). Aluminum alloy brackets and an air cooling system are designed to protect against overheating.

The smallest model in the series, called Acer APS311, offers 600 watts of power and a capacity of 512 watt hours (Wh). With dimensions of 301 x 227 x 193 millimeters and a weight of seven kilograms, the model is larger than the mini power station from Jackery we last tested. The peak performance of the Acer model is higher at 1,000 watts. Two AC and two USB-A ports, along with two USB-C and a cigarette lighter port, provide freedom of choice when charging.

The two lithium iron phosphate batteries Acer APS321 and APS331 are larger and heavier, but with peak outputs of 3,000 and 5,000 watts respectively. With a weight of 22 and 34 kilograms, they are used to supply larger consumers when camping or to ensure an emergency power supply at home.

Additional batteries and solar modules

The APS331 model can be optionally expanded with an additional battery with 2.5 kWh (APS300), so that the total capacity increases to over 5 kWh.

Various solar modules that are waterproof to IP67 are also available directly from Acer. The models are called Acer ASP330 (19.3 kg, 400 watts), ASP320 (11.2 kg, 200 watts) and ASP310 (6.6 kg, 100 watts).

Price and availability

All Acer new products should be available from March 2024. The price for the small power station ASP311 is 699 euros. The medium-sized model ASP321 costs 1,399 euros. The largest top model ASP331 costs 2,199 euros. The price of the additional battery is 1,699 euros.

Prices for the solar panels start at 229 euros (AS9310); range from 449 euros (ASP320) to 849 euros (ASP330). We will explain to you here what you should consider when buying a power station.
