Jason Wu: Are pop art prints back in fashion now?

Like so many other industries, New York Fashion Week is shaped by the corona pandemic this year. Many shows have to be moved to the virtual space and great designers like Ralph Lauren or Marc Jacobs are not even involved. Jason Wu kicked off Fashion Week on February 14, 2021 – the perfect gift for Valentine's Day for fashionistas. His designs are not flashy and colorful, but one print stands out in particular.

The cola bottle is the starting point of his collection, which is supposed to remind of earlier, lighter days. Andy Warhol was already able to celebrate great success with his colorful pop art prints in the 50s, why shouldn't the upbeat prints celebrate a revival in 2021? We think pop art prints are super stylish in small cans, as a complete look, but a little too much!
