It’s a story that has everything to become a tale that will be told to the descendants of this North Carolina-based newlywed couple. While the two lovebirds have just said yes for better or for worse, they were able to put their love to the test, and this, from the first night of their union. After exchanging their vows, the newlyweds were about to celebrate their nuptials with their friends at the wedding reception when the unthinkable happened. As they went, along with four of their guests, to the reception venue, the lovebirds found themselves trapped in an elevator.
The latter has indeed begun his ascent to the top floor of the building before stopping his race on the 16th floor of the Grand Bohemian Hotel located in Charlotte. “When it happened, I thought the elevator had stopped for a few seconds. The young man was obviously a little too optimistic, since the elevator remained blocked for more than two hours, as reported by the New York Post. “I could see a concrete wall in front of me and I could see a concrete wall behind me”he confided to our colleagues from NCC about the elevator doors. A detail that did not fail to make the young man think that his first wedding night was going to take an unexpected turn, to say the least.
