Second, James Purefoy, who played in the film adaptation of Resident Evil and who recently appeared in the series Sex Education, will play the spy Skellen. Finally, actor Danny Woodburn, known for his roles in the Seinfeld series or the latest Live-Action films dedicated to the Ninja Turtles, joins the cast to play Zoltan, Geralt’s faithful dwarf friend.

A season that has everything to prove

These newcomers are certainly a major asset for Netflix which has everything to prove with this new season. If the series The Witcher has managed to achieve good figures since the start of its broadcast, it is nevertheless necessary to underline the mixed reception which has been given to it by the press and the public over the seasons. With the fourth season, Netflix this time lost its centerpiece, Henry Cavill, who decided to leave the series. The British actor who perfectly played Geralt of Rivia will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. A choice far from being unanimous among fans. The streaming platform must therefore succeed in convincing the community devoted to the witcher. That being said, there are still several months before we can discover this new version of The Witcher, with filming scheduled to begin this spring. To be continued.
