Diablo 4 Season 3 is a real test for players. The Seneschal isn’t as effective as Season 2’s Vampiric Powers, and Vaults aren’t as appealing as Blood Harvests. Prepare to dodge numerous traps to successfully complete the quest “The Heart of Kulle”.
Where to find the first two Kulle journals?
For the majority of players, this step does not pose a problem. Here’s how to do it:
- The first journal is obtained by freeing Ayuzhan in the Hall of Doors
- The second journal is found shortly after, on one of the tables in the center of the Room of Doors
These logs are then stored on the nearby table, allowing you to view them at your leisure.
Where to find the three remaining journals to complete the quest “The Heart of Kulle”?
Locating the remaining three logs is a little more complex. A clip from a Twitch stream shows that nl_Kripp managed to obtain a third Kulle Journal in one of the vaults on level 21, with 15 charges of Zoltun’s Protection. The diary was found in one of the chests at the endalthough it is difficult to determine whether this was the main chest or a secondary chest.
It seems that the chances of obtaining these journals are quite low, or that you have to reach a certain level of difficulty. The locations of the latter two logs are unconfirmed, but are assumed to be similar.
Chapter 5 of the Season 3 Journey
By consulting Chapter 5 of the Season 3 Journey, we discover an objective mentioning the need to open Protected Chests until you have read all of Zoltun Kulle’s journals. This seems to indicate that you will need to have Kulle Wardmarks to find them.
In any case, unless you seriously invest in this seasonal activity for several days, it may be that the quest “The Heart of Kulle” remains difficult to complete. Hopefully a patch from Blizzard can resolve this issue in the coming days or weeks.
